Auto-enrolment: The support you need

Filed under: Blog — Grove @ 3:24 pm

In case you don’t know yet, major pension reforms are due to take effect from October 2012. They will mean that on a date between I October 2012 and 1 September 2016, you will have to:

  • Establish a workplace pension scheme that meets minimum requirements.
  • Automatically enrol most of your workers into the scheme
  • Pay contributions for all scheme members at a minimum level.

The date depends mainly on how many workers you employ and, if you have less than 50, your PAYE reference number.

As you can imagine, there’s quite a lot more to it than that and we expect to see some tinkering with the regulations along the way.

You will have to comply and this will be an increase in costs for you unless you plan ahead to mitigate them, all or in part. The longer you give yourself, the better you’ll be able to adjust your reward package in preparation.

There’s lots of detail available from a range of sources. To save you time though, we have put together a fixed price service that:

  • tells you how and when the legislation applies to you
  • what it will cost you in today’s terms
  • gives an unbiased overview of all of the options you have for establishing a workplace pension scheme (providers and advisers with an axe to grind will promote their favourite scheme. It may not be yours!)
  • keeps you up to date with regulatory guidance or change
  • provides you with a dedicated email help facility

The service costs £900 + VAT for each year you subscribe.

The service is completely stand alone and independent. There is no obligation to appoint us for further services and no sales pressure. We are a consultancy. Not a single solution sales machine.
